The Range Rover Velar is here, and it just oozes style and performance. Land Rover has created a sensational vehicle, capable of transferring from a sophisticated roadster to a robust off-roading machine. It might be a luxury SUV, but this is one vehicle that isn’t afraid of getting its tyres wet. Filling the gap between the Evoque and the Range Rover Sport, in a booming posh SUV market, the Velar gives Land Rover and ace up its sleeve.
The Velar has bags of features. Ultra-Slim LED headlights, retractable door handles, two-display screen and modern cabin are just a few of the state-of-the-art features that Velar owners can expect.
If you’re lucky enough to be able to shell out for a top of the line Velar, the 3.0-litre supercharge V6 petrol model in R-Dynamic HSE trim certainly packs a punch. The 0-60 acceleration of just 6.1 seconds and a top speed of 150mph can be achieved thanks to the Velars 300ps of power and whopping 700Nm of torque (more of which can be found in a Ferrari!).
It’s not often we get something this different on the SUV market. The Velar is so perfectly concocted that it is arguable the most advanced SUV money can buy…..for now.
